Vanguard Specialty is a Managing General Agent (MGA) and Program Manager for numerous specialized insurance programs in the professional liability insurance industry. Stephen van Wert began Vanguard Specialty in 2016 with the mission of bringing specialized niche solutions to the insurance world. Stephen is a former corporate attorney with over 20 of years of experience in the professional liability insurance industry with a particular emphasis in the lawyers professional liability space.

Randy Mrozowicz joined Vanguard Specialty in December 2020 in connection with Vanguard’s launch of its new non-standard LPL program. Randy was Senior Vice President and Head of U.S. E&O and D&O lines for StarStone Insurance. Prior to StarStone, Randy was with Monitor Liability Managers, a WR Berkley Company for over 20 years. At Monitor, Randy held various management positions including Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer.
